Strong point.
・It is airy.
・The tools of the type attached to a wire net can be used.
・Since most hamster cages are this type, the corresponding breeding tools are substantial.
・It is cheap.

Demerit.
・A wire net may pinch a leg and a hamster may suffer a fracture.
・A wire net is gnawed and there is a risk of folding a tooth or damaging the surroundings of gum or a mouth.
・A hamster is poor at getting down from a high place. It may climb to a wire net and fall.
・A flooring material may scatter on the outside of a cage.
・There is a risk of a hamster escaping.
・Since it is a sectional type, there is a risk of a connecting part separating.
・The intensity of a wire net is weak in many cases, and if it uses for a long time, it will distort or break.
・A wire net becomes obstructive to take the photograph of a hamster.

・Since warmth retaining property is good, a winter season is convenient.
・The accident of pinching a leg or falling does not happen easily on structure.
・A flooring material does not scatter outside.
・It is hard to escape from inside.
・Since the wall is transparent, inside can be clearly seen.

Demerit.
・Since it is not airy, humidity tends to become high in summer.
・Cleaning takes time and effort.
・It is heavy.
・Expensive compared with a wire net type cage.
・There are few corresponding breeding tools.
